“சேவைக் கழகம்”

இன்று முதல் (2026.08.07), யோகபுரம் மகா வித்தியாலயத்தில் மாணவர்களின் விருந்தோம்பல் திறன்களை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் “சேவைக் கழகம்” என்ற புதிய கழகம் உத்தியோகபூர்வமாகத் தனது செயற்பாடுகளை ஆரம்பித்துள்ளது.

🔹️இக்கழகத்தின் பொறுப்பாசிரியராக திருமதி தர்ஷிணி அவர்கள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

🔹️கழகத்திற்கான முதலாவது பயிற்சி நிகழ்வு இன்றைய தினம் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது. இதில், எமது பாடசாலையின் பழைய மாணவியும் தற்போது விடுதி முகாமைத்துவத் (Hotel Management) துறையில் கல்வி பயிலும் மாணவியுமான செல்வி சிவச்செல்வதங்கேஸ்வரன் சங்கவி வளவாளராகக் கலந்து கொண்டு, மாணவர்களுக்கு விருந்தோம்பல் சேவையின் அடிப்படைகள், உணவு மற்றும் பானங்களை முறையாகப் பரிமாறும் நடைமுறைகள், விருந்தினர்களை மரியாதையுடனும் தொழில்முறை அணுகுமுறையுடனும் வரவேற்கும் விதம், மேசை ஒழுங்கமைப்பு, சேவை நெறிமுறைகள் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு அம்சங்கள் தொடர்பாக செயன்முறைப் பயிற்சிகளை வழங்கினார்.

🔹️இக்கழகத்தின் உறுப்பினர்களாக தரம் 9, 10,11 மற்றும் 12 (உயர்தரம்) மாணவர்கள் இணைந்து செயற்படவுள்ளனர். அவர்களுக்குத் தொடர்ச்சியான பயிற்சிகள் மற்றும் வழிகாட்டல் நிகழ்வுகள் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டு, விருந்தோம்பல் தொடர்பான அறிவு மற்றும் திறன்கள் மேம்படுத்தப்படவுள்ளன.

🔹️இக்கழகத்தின் ஊடாக பாடசாலையில் நடைபெறும் பல்வேறு நிகழ்வுகள், விழாக்கள் மற்றும் சிறப்பு நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் உணவு, சிற்றுண்டி மற்றும் பானங்களை ஒழுங்காகவும் சிறந்த விருந்தோம்பல் முறையிலும் வழங்கக்கூடிய திறன்மிக்க மாணவர்களை உருவாக்குவதே இதன் பிரதான நோக்கமாகும்.

From today (2026.08.07), Yogapuram Maha Vidyalayam has officially launched a new “Service Club” with the aim of developing students’ hospitality skills.

🔹 Mrs. Tharshini has been appointed as the teacher-in-charge of the club.

🔹 The club’s inaugural training session was successfully conducted today. The resource person for the session was Miss. Sivachelvathangeswaran Sangavi, an alumna of our school who is currently pursuing studies in Hotel Management. She provided students with practical training on the fundamentals of hospitality, proper food and beverage service, welcoming guests with courtesy and professionalism, table setting, service etiquette, and various other essential aspects of hospitality.

🔹 Students from Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12(Advanced Level) will serve as members of the Service Club. They will participate in continuous training programmes and guidance sessions designed to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in hospitality.

🔹 The primary objective of the Service Club is to develop a team of skilled students who are capable of providing food, refreshments, and beverages in an organized and professional manner at various school events, ceremonies, and special functions, while promoting excellence in hospitality and service.
