தேசிய சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பு அதிகார சபையின் தேசிய நிகழ்ச்சித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான வருடாந்த மாவட்ட மாணவர் தூதுவர் மாநாடு, 17.09.2026 அன்று பண்டாரவன்னியன் மாநாட்டு மண்டபத்தில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
முல்லைத்தீவு மாவட்டச் செயலாளர் திரு. அ. உமாமகேஸ்வரன் அவர்களின் தலைமையிலும், மாவட்ட சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பு உத்தியோகத்தர் திரு. ம. வினோத் அவர்களின் ஒழுங்குபடுத்தலிலும் இம்மாநாடு இடம்பெற்றது.
நாட்டின் சிறுவர்களின் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதற்கான தீர்மானங்களை மேற்கொள்ளும் செயல்முறையில், பாடசாலை மட்டத்தில் சிறுவர்களின் பங்கேற்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் இவ்வேலைத்திட்டம் முன்னெடுக்கப்படுகிறது. அந்தவகையில், 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான தேசிய மாணவர் தூதுவர் மாநாட்டை முன்னிட்டு, முல்லைத்தீவு மாவட்ட மட்டத்தில் சிறுவர்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பு தொடர்பான பிரச்சினைகளை அடையாளம் கண்டு, அவற்றிற்கான நடைமுறைத் தீர்வுகளை முன்வைக்கும் நோக்கில் இம்மாவட்ட மாணவர் தூதுவர் முன்மொழிவுகள் மாநாடு நடைபெற்றது.
மாணவத் தலைவர்கள் சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தும் பணிகளில் செயற்பாட்டுடன் ஈடுபடும்போது அவர்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் சவால்கள், பாடசாலை மட்டத்தில் சிறுவர்கள் எதிர்நோக்கும் பாதுகாப்புப் பிரச்சினைகள் மற்றும் அவற்றிற்கான நடைமுறைத் தீர்வுகள் தொடர்பாகவும் இம்மாநாட்டில் கலந்துரையாடப்பட்டது. இதன் மூலம் பாடசாலைகளுக்கு இடையிலான ஒருங்கிணைப்பை வலுப்படுத்தி, சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக ஒருங்கிணைந்த நடவடிக்கைகளை முன்னெடுப்பதற்கான வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
மேலும், பாடசாலை அடிப்படையில் முன்னெடுக்கப்படும் சிறந்த சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பு நடைமுறைகளை சமூக மட்டத்தில் வெளிப்படுத்துவதும் இம்மாநாட்டின் முக்கிய நோக்கமாக அமைந்தது.குறித்த தேசிய வேலைத்திட்டத்தில் பதிவு செய்துகொண்ட பாடசாலைகள் ஒவ்வொன்றிலிருந்தும் மாணவத் தலைவர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டதுடன், உதவி மாவட்டச் செயலாளர், துணுக்காய் வலய உதவிக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர், பிரதேச சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பு உத்தியோகத்தர்கள், சிறுவர் உரிமைகள் மேம்பாட்டு உத்தியோகத்தர், பெண்கள் அபிவிருத்தி உத்தியோகத்தர், மாவட்ட உளசமூக உத்தியோகத்தர், சமுதாய அபிவிருத்தி உத்தியோகத்தர், போதைப்பொருள் ஒழிப்பு அபிவிருத்தி உத்தியோகத்தர் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு அரச உத்தியோகத்தர்களும் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
இந்நிகழ்வில் யோகபுரம் மகா வித்தியாலயத்தைச் சேர்ந்த இரு மாணவிகள் கலந்துகொண்டு, எமது பாடசாலை மற்றும் சமூகத்துடன் தொடர்புடைய பல்வேறு பிரச்சினைகள் மற்றும் அவற்றிற்கான தீர்வுகள் தொடர்பான தமது முன்மொழிவுகளை முல்லைத்தீவு மாவட்ட செயலகத்தின் கவனத்திற்குக் கொண்டு வந்தனர்.
மாணவிகளால் முன்வைக்கப்பட்ட விடயங்கள் தொடர்பாக உரிய தரப்பினரின் கவனத்திற்குக் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டதுடன், சிறுவர் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதில் மாணவர்களின் குரலுக்கும் பங்களிப்பிற்கும் முக்கியத்துவம் வழங்கப்பட்டது.
The Annual District Student Ambassador Conference – 2026, organized under the National Programme of the National Child Protection Authority, was successfully held on 17 September 2026 at the Bandaravanniyan Conference Hall.
The conference was held under the leadership of the District Secretary of Mullaitivu, Mr. A. Umamaheswaran, and coordinated by the District Child Protection Officer, Mr. M. Vinoth.
This programme is being implemented with the objective of ensuring the participation of children at school level in the decision-making processes aimed at safeguarding children in the country. Accordingly, in preparation for the National Student Ambassador Conference 2026, the District Student Ambassador Proposals Conference was conducted to identify child protection-related issues faced by children at the district level in Mullaitivu and to put forward practical solutions to address them.The conference also focused on the challenges faced by student leaders when actively engaging in child protection activities, the safety and protection issues encountered by students at school level, and practical solutions to address such issues. Through this initiative, guidance was provided to strengthen coordination among schools and to facilitate collective action towards ensuring child protection. Another key objective of the conference was to share and promote effective child protection practices implemented at school level within the wider community.Student leaders and teachers from schools registered under the national programme participated in the event.
In addition, the Assistant District Secretary, Assistant Director of Education of the Thunukkai Education Zone, Divisional Child Protection Officers, Child Rights Promotion Officer, Women’s Development Officer, District Psychosocial Officer, Community Development Officer, Drug Prevention Development Officer, and several other government officials also participated in the conference.
Two female students representing Yogapuram Maha Vidiyalayam participated in this significant event and presented several issues related to our school and community, together with their proposed solutions, to the attention of the Mullaitivu District Secretariat.
The issues presented by the students were brought to the attention of the relevant authorities, further highlighting the importance of students’ voices and active participation in ensuring child protection.
